Gavin Newlands, MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire North has welcomed the Scottish Government’s new Domestic Abuse Bill which was introduced on Monday. The new bill will strengthen the laws against those who psychologically abuse their partners using coercive and controlling behaviour.
