Gavin Newlands, the MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire North, said:
“Rock the House is the UK Parliament’s most-hotly contested competition and I am delighted that I am able to nominate Lisa and send her through the next stage of the contest.
“Like the rest of Paisley and Renfrewshire North, I will be backing Lisa’s bid to reach the Battle of the Bands stage at the Houses of Parliament and will be keeping my fingers crossed for her. Best of luck, Lisa!
