NEWLANDS ENCOURAGES LOCAL PEOPLE TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN EU REFERENDUM

Gavin Newlands, the MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire North, has encouraged local constituents to make sure that they are registered to vote for the upcoming European Union referendum.

The #generationEU campaign has been launched to encourage as many people as possible to register to vote in the EU referendum which takes place on the 23rd of June.

Gavin Newlands, MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire North, said:

“Whether we continue to be a member of the European Union or not is one of the biggest political decisions that we’ll make, and I hope that everyone will take the opportunity to have their say on this vitally important decision.

“With less than a month to go until the big vote, I hope that local people will engage further with the debate and feel that they are able to make an informed decision.

“Don’t miss out on the chance to have your say on whether we should continue to be a member of the European Union.”

ENDS.
